A lobe pump operates by trapping fluid between rotating lobes and the pump casing, transporting it from the suction side to the discharge side. Because the lobes do not touch each other or the casing, internal wear is minimized, and abrasive or sensitive fluids can be handled safely.

This non-contacting design ensures longer service life, reduced maintenance, and reliable performance across a wide range of applications.
